The latest data on COVID-19’s development in Quebec:
Quebec confirms 735 new cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people infected in the province to 37,721.
Half of Quebec’s infection numbers are due to the virus’s spread in Montreal, which has 19,197 cases as of today, based on the latest update by Santé Montreal. That’s 50.89% of confirmed cases for the whole province.
142 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total to 2,928.
The number of hospitalizations decreased by 4, for an overall total of 1,831.
Among these, the total of patients in intensive care now stands at 199, a decrease of 6.
Cases in the neighbourhood
Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension has 1,364 confirmed cases of COVID-19. That’s 31 new cases in the past 24 hours.
