Montreal has opened a few mobile testing clinics, with guidance from the Montreal’s Regional Public Health department, to screen residents for the coronavirus illness known as COVID-19. CIUSSS, social services for Montreal’s West Central region, have converted a bus into a free site for testing COVID-19.

The clinic was open this week, beside Parc metro, from May 19 to May 21. Everyday the clinic tested residents from 10 am to 4 pm.

Staff conducted 179 tests on Tuesday, May 19, a new record for the West Central bus clinic. For comparison, the clinic can do a maximum of 200 tests in one day.

The clinic tested 163 residents on Wednesday, May 20. Today, the clinic tested 168 residents.

The mobile clinic will open in Park Extension again, Monday to Wednesday next week. Click here to see more details.
