COVID-19 bus clinic tests 460 residents in three days

Health and social services (CIUSSS West Central) set up a mobile clinic from June 12 to June 14 to screen Park Extension residents for the coronavirus illness known as COVID-19. CIUSSS West Central confirms the clinic tested 460 residents over three days.

Health services used a city bus as a testing clinic. The bus traveled to high-priority regions and tested local residents for free.

CIUSSS West Central confirms that the clinic conducted 195 tests on Friday, June 12.

Additionally, the clinic conducted 130 tests on Saturday, June 13.

Finally, the clinic did 135 tests on Sunday, June 14.

Two weeks prior, a total of 326 tests were done over three days, when the clinic was set up by Barclay school.

CIUSSS has not yet announced plans for further testing in Park Extension.
