COVID-19 Pandemic update for October 15th 2020 – The government presents its daily update

QUÉBEC CITY, Oct. 15, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ – The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19 in Québec show 969 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 89,963. Also, 8 new deaths have occurred in the last 24 hours, to which are added 20 deaths which have occurred between October 8 and October 13 and 2 deaths which have occurred before October 8. However, the total is at 6,005 due to the withdrawal of 2 deaths that the investigation has shown not to be attributable to COVID-19. The number of hospitalizations increased by 5 compared to the previous day, for a cumulative total of 493. Among these, the number of people in intensive care increased by 3, for a total of 83. The samples conducted on October 13 amount to 24,612 for a total of 2,723,045.
