Health and social services (CIUSSS West-Central) set up a mobile clinic from Friday, May 29, to Sunday, May 31, to screen Park Extension residents for the coronavirus illness known as COVID-19. CIUSSS used a city bus as a testing clinic. The clinic tested 326 residents for COVID-19, over three days.
The bus clinic, parked at Barclay school, was open from 10 am to 4 pm. Testing was free to anyone regardless of health coverage.
CIUSSS West confirms that the clinic conducted 120 tests on Friday, May 29. On Saturday, May 30, the clinic conducted 101 tests. On Sunday, May 31, the clinic did 105 tests.
