QUÉBEC CITY, Oct. 6, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ – The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19 in Québec show 1,364 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 81,014. Also, 3 new deaths have occurred in the last 24 hours, to which is added 9 deaths which have occurred between September 29 and October 4, 1 death which has occurred before September 29 and 4 deaths which have occurred at an unknown date. However, the total is at 5,899 due to the withdrawal of 2 deaths that the investigation has shown not to be attributable to COVID-19. The number of hospitalizations increased by 36 compared to the previous day, for a cumulative total of 397. Among these, the number of people in intensive care increased by 5, for a total of 67. The samples conducted on October 4 amount to 20,339 for a total of 2,500,916.
