Man hospitalized for gunshot wound after altercation escalates in Jarry Park

MONTREAL – According to city police, a man was shot around 10:15 p.m. Sunday night after an argument escalated in Jarry Park.

The victim, who is in his twenties, was shot in the lower body. The victim proceeded to Ball Avenue towards Querbes Avenue. He collapsed on the street and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The victim’s condition was found to be stable and without risk to his life.

The police say they know the victim. According to them, he does not cooperate with investigators.

No arrests have been made. No information is known about potential suspects.
