Police now able to get official warrants by phone to enter private homes

Montréal—As has been reported by numerous sources, Police in Montréal and other regions will now be able to enter private homes if not invited officially by home owners. All they need is permission, or rather a warrant, which will now be issued by telephone, and once granted, police may enter any home to dole out fines for non-compliance of the rules set in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

If police come upon gatherings in private homes, fines will certainly be handed out.

For more rules set in place see: http://px-news.com/city-of-montreal-in-the-red-lockdown-announced/

And the fines, as has been the case for many months, have gotten even pricier. Up to $1000 with administration fees of $546.

Going to zones that are not in the red is also prohibited and fines can be doled out for that reason as well.
