A mobile clinic is open beside Parc metro station to screen local residents for COVID-19, without appointment. The city converted a bus into a clinic to increase testing in priority regions. The bus clinic will stay open from today to Thursday, 10 am to 4 pm.

Testing is free to anyone regardless of immigration status or health insurance coverage. Park Extension residents without the provincial health insurance plan can access the clinic, as can residents without health insurance or with expired insurance cards.

The clinic will accept residents who:

  • Are presenting flu-like symptoms
  • Are not presenting symptoms, but have been in contact with someone who is confirmed positive for COVID-19

Residents don’t need an appointment to come in. However the clinic can do a maximum of 200 tests per day.
